Project Description

The Al Doha-Qatar International Competition for Mosques was a competition to design a new mosque in Doha, Qatar. The competition was announced in 2008. The winning design was created by the MAG team, a group of architects and engineers from Syria.

The MAG team's design for the Al Doha-Qatar Mosque is a modern interpretation of traditional Islamic architecture. The mosque is made up of a series of interlocking cubes. The cubes are made of concrete. The mosque's interior is just as striking as its exterior. The prayer hall is large and airy, with a high ceiling and large windows that let in natural light. The walls of the prayer hall are decorated with intricate geometric patterns.

The Al Doha-Qatar Mosque is a beautiful and functional building that is a testament to the talent of the MAG team. The mosque is a new addition to the city of Doha.
