EXUBERANCE AND DIGITAL VIRTUOSITY

MAGLAB Workshop

MAG LAB, Syria – Spain – Italy (Materials- Advanced Architecture – Generative Laboratory) as a part of Maksoud Architectural Group, Authorized Reseller and Authorized training center of McNeel in Syria and the Middle East through its affiliate offices, was pleased to announce the first edition of the 3dstudio Max scripting workshops and top mode, “Exhuberance and digital virtuosity” which took place in Damascus - Syria on April 24th-27th 2014.

Participants were introduced to strategies for the integration of

Digital tools not merely as a means of production but as an impetus of design.

Exploring the exciting world of Digital Design, The workshop

introduced participants to Parametric Design strategies, highlighting issues of design, use of technology and methodology from concept forms & shapes, through to complex engineering analysis.

Innovative tools for geometric modeling and scripting including

minimal surfaces, mesh relaxing, tessellation and parametric steel frame modeling were also featured.

At the end of the workshop each participant will receive an official certificate of participation from MAG LAB, Syria – Spain – Italy (Materials- Advanced Architecture – Generative Laboratory).

These events follow the highly successful previous workshops, Spain 2008-2009, Italy 2010, Syria 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-2014 and multiple preceding events.

At the end of the workshop each participant will receive an official certificate of participation from MAG LAB, Syria – Spain – Italy (Materials- Advanced Architecture – Generative Laboratory).
